Hello,
I believe your problem is taken care of through support(at)user-meta.com.
Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello Onno,
A Custom Field can do the trick. Add a custom field with the selection of HTML5 Input Type as Email and configure the field to your needs.
Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello,
Try increasing values of the following variables of your server.
max_input_vars
memory_limit
post_max_sizeThanks.
sourov aminMemberHello Onno,
Yes, you can control the stylings.
In every field, there are Input Class, Field Container Class and Field Container Style in the Advanced settings. You can put CSS style directly in Field Container Style for the whole container. To change only the label stylings, you also can put in Field Container Class likemy_container_class
and add CSS to your theme like:.my_container_class label{ // CSS label styles }
To change the styles of form submit button you have Submit Button Title, Submit Button Class and Form Class in the form Settings tab.
sourov aminMemberHello,
Add codes to your theme’s function.php file.
Also, you can put these in a custom plugin.Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello,
This is a little unfamiliar situation for activating users with a non-admin role. Activation URL is by default added to make sure the link is there even if someone missed it in the settings. But thank you for letting us know the issue. We will consider this in the future release.
Best Regards.
sourov aminMemberHello,
Which feature is not working? Can you elaborate on the issue?
There is also a “BuddyPress xProfile Export” add-on to export xProfile data with UMP.Thanks.
sourov aminMemberJust in case, you are still stuck in that problem:
1. Deactivate and uninstall the present version of UMP (No, it won’t delete any data. But for safety, you should make a backup through UMP export).
2. Download, upload and install the Dev/new version of UMP.That’s it.
sourov aminMemberHello All,
Download and install the Dev version for an immediate solution from https://user-meta.com/downloads/.
Or you can wait a bit longer for UMP 1.4.2 to be released.Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello All,
In the next update, this bug will be fixed. And the next version will be released within a week.
Sorry for the inconvenience.Thanks.

It’s not a known bug. Please contact to support(at)user-meta.com if you are still having this trouble.
Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello,
1. Deactivate and delete the old version of the plugin
2. Download the new version of the plugin
3. Install the new version
Your UMP data won’t be lost in the process. But for safety, you can save a backup before updating.
This can be helpful: https://user-meta.com/documentation/get-started/#document-5If it doesn’t work please contact to support(at)user-meta.com
Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello Rev,
What did you mean by “admin gets the username and email and that is all”: Admin can only see user’s username and email in the backend? If so, it’s because of all the other fields you added are not WordPress default fields. If you want to show these in the backend, make these fields as shared and add these fields in backend profile from “User Meta >> Settings >> Backend Profile”.
If it’s not the case, tell more details about the issue or possibly contact to support(at)user-meta.com.
Thanks.
sourov aminMemberHello Paul,
You can set custom redirection after login from “User Meta >> Settings >> Redirection”. You can set a profile page there with a profile from or any other specific page for the case of redirection. From the profile page, the user can update his/her account. Make sure you set the profile page right. A profile page shouldn’t show that type of message you have mentioned if the user is logged in.
If you set all the things right but still having this problem please send an email about the issue at support@user-meta.com
Thanks.
