This is about adding reCAPTCHA on your Login page on the WordPress website.

First, you have to install User Meta Pro on your site. Go to User Meta >> Forms from your WordPress side menu. Click Add New in the top left corner to create a new Login form. Now we are on the form page.

Give a name to your form in the Form Name field at the top. Add preferred filed from the right drop-down panel. Here in the picture below, I added UserName, Password field from WordPress default fields. And added the Captcha field from Formatting Fields panel.

Now go to the Captcha field we just added. Here in the Captcha basic settings, we can edit Field Label, Label Position, Description, and reCaptcha Version. You can keep the first 3 fields as they are, only have to edit reCaptcha Version. There are 2 types of Captcha a user can insert. One is version 2(visible) and two, version 3 (invisible). Here I am showing the version 2.

After selecting the version you have to fill the site key and secret key field. We have a field called Get reCaptcha Keys click to that filed and it will let you google Recaptcha service pages where you can found the keys. Fill up the form giving your information and click submit. Instructions to fillup the form given in the picture below:

After submitting the Recaptcha we will find our site key and secret key. Copy those keys and paste them into your registration form.

 

 

Now we are done with Recaptcha settings. save the form now by clicking Save changes.  Your form is ready now. Go to User meta >> settings. you will find a login shortcode on the right side. So your shortcode will be in this format [user-meta-login from="form name"].

Go to Pages >> Add New. Paste the shortcode in it.

Congratulations!! Your Login form with Recaptcha is ready. Go it page URL and check it. Thank you.

Add regex in Password field with User Meta Pro so that you can specify a pattern and put some restriction into the password. By this, you can force users to set their password in your given way.

To set this just write the regex in pattern box of the password field’s basic menu.

 

 

For example: [a-zA-Z0-9]+ , this pattern is indicating alpha-numeric entry.

^(?=.*\d)\w+$ , with this pattern any alphabets are allowed but no special characters and password must contains at least one digit.

^.{6,}$, password must contains at least 6 symbols.

Error Text will be shown, if the password does not match with the given pattern. You can also set the error text.

Useful & A Class One

I am not sure why some people are complaining about this plugin. To me, it’s the best user management wordpress plugin. Maybe there’s some problem about support. But it’s seems to me the problem is solved recently. They are giving replies. However, this issue can’t prevent me to give this plugin 100% rating.
This plugin is full of useful features and the pro version is absolutely a class one. No question about that.
The plus point is anyone can use it with ease. I’ve tried few similar plugin like this one. Honestly, this is the best among these.

User Management plugin that works!

There are tons of user management plugins in wordpress but most of those does not work (seriously there is no single plugin that solves all the user management problems). Even paid one’s! I was frustrated and was helpless. Because, I have couple large wordpress based application which literally have million views per month. And I wanted a single plugin that provides standard user management features which will help me to engage more users and gain more traction.

When I was almost giving up and was going to hire an agency to develop a custom solution, I found this plugin through my friend (who was already using this plugin).
And I find “user meta” as a single versatile solution for wordpress user management.
The support is very responsive and overall I am happy so far with the plugin. Highly recommended to someone who wants a single complete package for wordpress user management system.
