I think it happens when you switch a field in your from a single option to a possible array, i.e. changing a single text field to a select list. It’s like the software can’t handle a change like that and you actually have to recreate the form. I’m recollecting from memory, I didn’t make a clear note of the resolution I’m afraid, but it no longer exists for me.
Anthony EwersMemberThanks for this response.
Can you confirm you are sanitizing the input before it is written to the database? Please see: https://www.phptutorial.net/php-tutorial/php-sanitize-input/
Thank you.
Anthony EwersMemberI also have this issue. The show works but not the hide if I deselect a radio box?
This plugin is quite expensive for what it does, and it doesn’t do what it does flawlessly.
Anthony EwersMemberIn addition to my post above, the Admin no longer sees the fields, maybe it should be everyone except for the Admin can see those fields in the backend?
Anthony EwersMemberHi there,
I just wanted to add, that this page:
Shows how certain fields can be hidden in the back end, but if I were to use the shortcode [user-meta-profile form="Form_Name"] on a page, that would show fields for the user to edit that may have been hidden on the backend, so wouldn’t it make sense to hide those fields in both places?
Thanks.
Anthony EwersMemberI need this feature it possible to complement the URL structure of my site, because I like to show URL’s like, mysite.com/posts/firstname-lastname
Thanks,
Anthony EwersMemberHello,
Thanks for the clarification – this sounds ok. My suggestion is just in terms of site migration and standardisation. I am also unsure if there are any additional security concerns around a plugin using a custom directory like this.
Thanks.
Anthony EwersMemberHello, Do you have any idea when that future version might be released?
