'you do not have permission'

Hi,

When testing registration login, I click my link to register a new account and a notice pops up saying “You do not have permission to access this page”. This means new users can’t register to my site. Help! What have I done wrong?

Hello Sarah, I think you did something wrong with your shortcode. Your shortcode suppose to look like
[user-meta form="your_form_name" type="registration"]

Most probably you have used type=”profile” instead of “registration”.

Thanks for the reply. I have sorted out the permission issue, and used the short code as above:

[user-meta form="user_registration" type="registration"]

but now it says ‘no form found’. The form I created in the ‘Form Editor’ is called User Registration.

I’m still doing something wrong 🙁

Please note, form name is case sensitive. If you use “User Registration” as form name, you should use that way in shortcode too.
