Can't change password editing user profile

Hi,

I added a password field in the user profile to let the users change their password. I configured it to be a double field with validation. The validation process works fine, but if I modify my password, the new password is not saved fine. After modifying the password I close the session and try to log in with the new password, but I still have the old password configured in my account.

What’s wrong with this? Any ideas of how can I make it work?

Hello Andreu,

Please make sure you have used password field form “WordPress default field” block. Which types of validation you have used?

The meta key of the field is “contrasena” in Spanish. Should it be a different thing maybe?

Hi, Password from “WordPress default field” block not suppose to be have meta_key attributes. BTW, use meta_key: user_pass instead of contrasena.

Thanks. Using “user_pass” for the key resolved the issue 🙂
