I am trying to create a front end registration form for a site using custom user taxonomies (see link below). It is not a public site yet but the idea would be to allow the user to set their skills on their profile (designer, writer, etc.). The taxomonmy is registered with the name “skill”.
I am trying to use the checkbox or dropdown field selection so the user can set their
My questions:
– Is this possible?
– What is the “meta key” that is required to be set. I thought it would be “skill” but perhaps it is an id?
– It also requires field options that I could manually enter but I am not sure how to do this from the instructions. If my list is “Graphic Designer, Writer, Producer”, how would I enter it in the field?
I also would like to know if there is any way to use user taxonomies with this plugin.
Is there a filter or hook I can use to change the values of a multi-select or group of checkboxes to display user taxonomies and update them upon submission of the form?
If not, can you suggest a way to easily filter users based on checkbox values?
