Weird issue here and I’ve narrowed it down to the user meta pro plugin. When the plugin is activated, I’m noticing that it seems to be restricting admin from accessing “Settings” options.. infact, the “Settings” parent link in the admin menu is missing when the plugin is active. When I try to access any of the settings pages for plugins that require admin, I get the following error, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”.
It would seem to be a conflict with other role / backend restriction plugins but I can’t figure out why.
We did not restrict admin to access settings page. And so far, we didn’t notice this issue and not even complain from any of our users.
Would you please recheck your issue with deactivating User Meta Pro temporarily. And don’t forget to let us know the update.
