I have followed the directions that are in the forum. I picked the role field, selected the role in the allowed roles, picked my default role as the one I picked in allowed roles and then set the role selection type as hidden and saved the field. I then opened my form and dragged it onto my form and save the form. The form says it has registered successfully but when I go to see my new user their role is subscriber and not my custom role that I made through user role editor. I don’t think that the role is wrong because I can set the new user to the role in the users as admin and then everything is good.
What I am trying to do is have two forms. One form will save with role 1 and a second form that will save and be role 2. Have I missed a step or is this even possible. Right now I can’t get one form to work let alone both to save with a different role than subscriber.
Hello, It suppose to work. However, please have a look on page source (from browser), what is the name and value of the hidden input. Or you can post registration url here or send it to support(at)user-meta.com to let us check.
Thanks.
