I have a rich text editor which is supposed to be used to insert tables in the wordpress backoffice. However, when I add a table to the editor, I cannot edit its cells. If I select a cell and start typing, the text that I type appears as plain text, after the table.
I realized that if I add some text and then the table, it works correctly, but I only wish to have the table on this field.
Also, I would like to set an html table as default value of the rich text field, and somehow this is not working as well. I tried setting simple text (“Lorem ipsum”) as default value of the field and that didn’t work as well.
Any help on this matter is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
That works perfectly, I will wait for the next version and in the mean time I will use the dev version.
However, the default value for the rich text field still doesn’t work.
Thank you for your support.

Since I got no response from the support, I made a hack.
The plugin still doesn’t support a default value, so I injected my HTML default value (a table) using jQuery.
This is working for my current project, but it’s not the best way. User Meta Pro team should check this bug for next release.
