Saving a mulit-page form half way through

Hi. First of all, nice plugin! I bought the Pro version and it’s great. But, I have a question:

I am building a website which has a long registration form. I have split this over 6 pages and it all works fine. However, my fields are not all required. So, this means that a user may only have to fill in the first page, and then ignore the rest. In order to save this data at any time, is it possible to put the ‘update’ button at the bottom of every page?

Thanks for using User Meta Pro. So far, this is not supported. We’ll consider this with next release.

I do a bit of coding myself. Could you tell me what I need to do to customise this myself? I would be happy to add the feature myself if you explain where I need to look (I don’t mind if this means that I can not update the plugin in future).

Hello,

You can try this:

Create a html field from User Meta >> Fields Editor and put those html code to default value:

<br /> <input type="submit" name="um_sibmit_button" value="Update" id="insert_user" /><br />

Then drag this htlml field just before your second page heading field and so on.
