No Dashboard

Is there anyway you can get rid of the dashboard when a user logins? I don’t want the dashboard, I just want the user to login and only see the home page.

Hello,
You can use redirection feature of UMP to redirect user to home page after login.
Go to User Meta >> Settings (Redirection Tab)
select Home for login redirection and hit save button.

I have the same question. Can I prevent the user from going to the Dashboard.

Redirection is okay, but can they be blocked from going to dashboard/profile?

Hello,

Put following codes to your functions.php

add_action( 'admin_init', 'blockDashboard' );
function blockDashboard() {
    if ( ! current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) {
        wp_redirect( site_url() );
        exit();
    }
}

These code will prevent non-admin to access wp-admin area.

I used the redirection feature and tried to login as a regular user to see what happens and it doesn’t redirect at all for me. Any idea why? Thanks
