Date field wont allow year before 2004

I’m using a “Date/Time” Extra Field with a Type Selection of “Date” for the selection of a user’s “Date of Birth” but the calendar that pops open won’t allow a Year before 2004 to be selected. This is a problem as my site’s members will be more than 10 years old. Can you please fix this?

Please add following code to your functions.php (under your current theme)

add_filter( 'user_meta_field_config', 'user_meta_field_config_function', 10, 3 );
function user_meta_field_config_function( $field, $fieldID, $formName ){ 
    if( $fieldID != 0 ) // Replace 0 with your filed id
        return $field;
    $field['field_options'] = array( "yearRange"=>"1900:c" );
    return $field;
}

Don’t forget to Replace 0 with your filed id. Thanks.
