Date Entry/Field not Editable by Admin

I’m trying to edit a custom date field for a particular user under Users in wp-admin as an administrator, but the field is greyed out and doesn’t allow edits. Other fields, however, are editable (e.g. text box and dropdown). Rules for all fields are set to Admin only. It’s very important that the dates are editable. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

Just to note, I did notice that a readonly=”readonly” is being applied and not sure why/how. I’ve been through all of the settings and there’s nothing marked readonly for the field. Help?

Which version of User Meta Pro and WordPress are you using? Can you please provide some screenshots regarding the problem just to get a clear view about your query.

Check the box for ‘Read-Only for non admin’ in the Rules section, save and test again…

I have exactly the same problem as the thread starter – field is marked as “readonly” in the sourcecode although it is not marked as readonly in the settings. The proposed solution by Keith Crusher did not resolve this issue.
