Custom text for front-end ERROR

Hello,

I’m trying to delete the custom front-end texts in the back-office so, as I understand, it uses the default values in the .po/.mo files.

But it doesn’t work 🙁
When I delete some contents (it says leave blank for default content) and click “Apply” then reload the page, actually the fields are not blank anymore.

My (long-time) issue is that I can’t translate forms and fields as i’d like too, on my multi-language web site.
It’s the final issue I have to correct for the projet to be OK with the client, so I’d really like to fix all this !

Hi Antoine,

You can try following solution:

put code from following url https://gist.github.com/UserMetaPro/c83e458d9f71841fce5c to your functions.php

Then login on your site as admin and visit http://example.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=generate_wpml_config

This will generate wpml-config.xml into user-meta directory according to http://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/
