I have created a custom registration form for a membership site using UMP. Everything works fine. But after a user completes the form, I have them redirected to a separate payment page. That too works fine. I am using Gravity Forms for the payment page and Gravity +Stripe plugin to handle payments. I need to pass data from form 1 into form 2 to make a smoother experience for the user.
Here is my questions / needs:
1. Do you know of an easy way to integrate a payment solution into forms made by UMP?
if not, then
2. I need to pass certain data from the UMP registration form to the GF payment form. The payment page is conditional, based upon what level of membership a user selects in the UMP form, so I need to pass the value from a drop down / select box into the new GF payment form as a Product item in their Pricing Fields options. The GF payment form will display the correct membership price based upon the membership level selected.
the level options are: FREE, INDIVIDUAL, NON-PROFIT BUSINESS, SILVER BUSINESS, GOLD BUSINESS, and PLATINUM BUSINESS.
add_action( 'user_meta_after_user_register', 'user_meta_after_user_register_function' );
function user_meta_after_user_register_function( $response ){
global $userMeta;
//let your meta_key is user_payment_level or you can use $_REQUEST
$userMeta->jsRedirect("http://example.com/payment?level=".$response->user_payment_level."&user_id=".$response->ID);
}
Thanks.
