Avatar Size (crop)

I have been through the forums but have not found a solution to cropping the avatar. To be honest I am not sure if this is an upload issue or display issue on the part of WordPress. However using the avatar upload field, the image is distorted by width and/or height. Is there anyway to force a square crop? I don’t mind opening and editing the files, just not sure where to look.

Hello,
It is not a uploading issue. It is a displaying issue.

To edit yourself, open /user-meta/controllers/umPreloadesControllers.php and look at line: 76
$resizedImage = image_resize( $avatarPath, $size, $size );

Edit this line as you needed.

Thanks so much explaining! I changed line 76 to $resizedImage = image_resize( $avatarPath, $size, $size, true ); and cropping is occurring.
