and it catches the exception required (no spaces in the username) HOWEVER, it does not fire the error listed in the function but instead gets routed to the plugins php file at:
./framework/models/PluginFrameworkWPSupport.php
The exact line which DOES get fired is:
}elseif( !@$userdata[‘user_login’] && !@$userdata[‘user_email’] ){
//$errors->add( ’empty_login_email’, __( ‘Cannot create a user with an empty login name and empty email’, $pfInstance->name ) );
Also, once this error is displayed, the registration never proceeds even if the error is corrected, it keeps showing this error and registration has to be aborted.
Is there a way to ‘refresh’ this state so that registration can continue? Thanks.
Hello,
filter hook “user_meta_pre_user_register” only works with UMP registration shortcode. So, make sure you are using UMP shortcode in your registration form.
Hi, The registration page was created by following the instructions in the plugin, for the page within WordPress we have ‘[user-meta type="registration" form="registration-form"]‘ and the template itself just has a <?php the_content() ?> to reference it.
Everything works except anytime a WP_error is thrown using the user_meta_pre_user_register hook the form then gives same error even though the incorrect field has been corrected.
