Im looking for a hook to be able to run some code after a user updates – submits a form. Im using a from to have that specific user submit tracking information on a package. When they submit, I want to run code that will send out an email.

I know there is a register hook, but that does not apply to what I wish to do.

Maybe I can have the hook only apply to a specific form name, so that email code does not run in general every time any form is submitted, just that specific form.

I have the same need for after update processing. Don’t need to send an email but do need to process updates and update other fields as a result. If you just refreshed the page that the form is on, I could leave code on that page and it would solve my problem. Thanks.

Hello,

You can use action hook after profile update.
Action Hook: “user_meta_after_profile_update”
This hook accept one parameters: $response (object)

And also there is a registration hook too which run after user registration.
Action Hook: “user_meta_after_user_register”
This hook accept one parameters: $response (object)
