I am interested in generating a report of User Profile data that has changed since a specific time. Are there any Timestamp fields that I can access that shows when any field was updated on the profile or when a specific (or group of) custom field(s) are updated?
Ultimate solution will be to email the changed user information to an outside party who manually maintains a separate user database for billing purposes.
I am new to WordPress, but have a coding background. Any suggestions as to how I can update my own timestamp field on Update or Save? Can I modify the Update/Modify button to update that field?
You can use WordPress hock to add timestamp field while registration or profile update. Those are some sample code, add those code to your function.php (under active theme directory)
I would like to know when a set of fields was last updated. I have a form created with just Address fields (address, City, State, Zip) and also create an AddressChangeTimestamp field that I would like to set when ever the update button is pushed on this form. Anyway in the form I can automatically set a field with the current time?
I’m trying to accomplish exactly what you were trying to do.
Were you able to update the timestamp when address changed? Can you tell me how you did it?
Thanks
