[user-meta-login] shortcode just appears as text

This has been working for years and I’m now on 2.3.

I temporally renamed the plugin directory to fix another issue, and when renamed back, and enabled all the plugins again, UMP no longer work. It was working before. UMP is activated and I can get into the UMP settings and all my settings appear fine. I’ve made no changes to UMP either and no Pluggins were added between working and not working. Just the shortcode [user-meta-login] does nothing but appear as text. Any ideas? I can use the wp-login, but that’s rather clunky.

If I go into settings, the Login tab, and click on View Page – that shows the login. I’ve also tried “Disable Ajax Submit”, with no change. I suspect I’m missing something but don’t see it.

Other shortcodes are used in the site with other plugins, and these are all working fine, so it’s not something that is stopping all shortcodes.

One further note – caching is completely disabled. Tested on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Problem solved. Even though I had my cache off, it somehow was interfering with UMP. Enabling Rocket Cache and clearing the cache starting UMP working again. Very strange, but not a UMP issue. Never seen the disabled cache cause such a weird issue. Nothing else was affected.
