I got this not from the guy hosting our site:
“It’s really not clear what is happening. As we looked at it closer, it’s not that the table is corrupt, it’s just… frozen. I’ve never seen something quite like this… I tried just restarting mysql without loading a backup and it worked. I’d suspect a weird table locking issue that never gets unlocked, but that usually prevents writes, not reads. While eastonprostaff.com is the only site that goes down (since it’s never able to read from the user table), there are a few server-wide effects (one of which is having to restart mysql to get the eastonprostaff going again) so we really need to try and make sure the issue is resolved before running it again.”

Until now, when you click export users, it tries to load all users data and put it onto csv files. I assume, you have a large numbers of Users that you tried to export. With future release, we shall introduce progressive users export. Until then, please try to filter users by date to maintain small numbers of users on a single export while exporting.

When I try to limit the number of users by deselecting only the User Roles I want exported out, that is when I get the error. When I export out the whole list, it seems to export out fine — so the solution that I have found is actually not limiting the user export at all… which really isn’t a solution. It seems to be a more of a bug with the plugin. Please advise.

June 23, 2015 at 11:35 pm #7314catapultimpactMemberNot yet. What has been fixed in the latest release that could fix this issue? I looked through the changelog updates and didn’t see anything listed that seems like it would effect/fix this bug.
Do you advise updating? Is it safe to update?

June 23, 2015 at 11:47 pm #7317KhaledMemberI recommend v1.1.7, although there are not major update for users export issue but latest version has major ui and functionality improvement with bug fixes. And it is safe to update, you will not lose any user’s data. Just completely remove existing user-meta directory and then upload new user-meta files.
