I have an avatar field in my form, but it there is no “upload a file” button. Any ideas what could cause this? I am using the Simple Local Avatar plugin, but I disabled it and there was no difference. Any other ideas on what could cause the upload file button to not display? Thanks!

Please check are there any js error preventing to load upload script.

You can use non ajax solution is ajax is failed for any case.

Thanks – I just ended up disabling ajax upload.
