    Hi,

    I’ve just purchased the pro version after having set up my fields in the free version. I downloaded the pro version zip files, uploaded and overwrote the existing plugin files in my plugins directory, and then signed in to activate my pro account.

    All of that seemed to work fine, but when I go to the settings page, all of the ‘pro required’ tabs still read the same notice:

    This feature is only supported in Pro version. Get User Meta Pro

    Please advise…

    Hello,

    You need to validate your licence for using pro version. You can validate your licence from User Meta >> Settings.

    If this process fail for you you can try http://user-meta.com/activation/ too.

    I am having trouble getting it to activate too. It will not work from in my site’s admin screen and when I try the form on here I keep getting the following error

    Something went wrong – -32601 : server error. requested method ump.validate does not exist.

    Could you take a look please?

    Remote pro activation support added from version 1.1.3rc1. Did you try activate your version remotely with UMP version 1.1.3rc1?

    Ahh, thankks, that’s got it. When I tried updating it, it kept coming back as the latest version, but I have now downloaded this and installed it.

    You might want to update the latest version in WordPress plugin directory?

    The plugin pro account was already activated. It still says so right now, and I have tried re-entering my email and password to ‘re-activate’, but that doesn’t seem to help.

    The settings page activation form currently looks like the following:
    Email: [ my@email.com ] Password: [ ] (validated)

    However the pro tabs still all read:
    This feature is only supported in Pro version. Get User Meta Pro

    When I try activating remotely it just says ‘Already Validated’.

    Should I delete the plugin folder and re-upload? Maybe there’s just something wrong with the files since I overwrote the free plugin with the pro plugin.

    It seems that your licence is validated. You might need to reinstall the plugin.

    To complete reinstallation:
    Disable and delete current UMP version.
    Then download version 1.1.3rc1 and install-activate it.

    Thanks for the help. After deleting and re-installing the plugin everything seems to be working fine.
