Password Encryption Problem

I used this plugin to export a set of users, and the tried to import them into a different site. However, when the new users were imported, their passwords didn’t re-encrypt. In other words, when the file exported, the passwords came out as some random 15 digit string. Then when they got imported, they stayed as that 15 digit string, instead of turning back into what they originally were.

Hello, WP doesn’t store user password as plain text, so you can’t retrieve plain text password. And when you import new user, ump assume provided password is in plain text format, so it rehashed the password.

But in your case, you don’t need to hash the password again. Please paste following codes to your functions.php
