New field is highlighted in green and does not show

I am trying to add a new radio box to an existing form. The field does NOT show up on the form. In the advanced section, it is marked for admin only, and I am logged in as an admin. There are other similar fields on the form. The bar at the top of the field definition stays green, which I am guessing means there is some error. But I can’t see any error. The setup looks just like other fields. The field is also not available for export. I have also added a HTML field and it shows green also. Any ideas on why this could happen? I have filled in the values of Yes and No for the radio button, and set a default to N.

Hi,

On form editor, green fields mean theses fields are only available to that specific form. So don’t worry about it. For option selection, please make sure you have provided meta key.

Is option selection works if you uncheck admin-only?

Thank you!! that was the answer. I had looked in the documentation and was not able to find it. In previous versions, fields were automatically available to me to add to the back-end profile, but now they are only available if shared. I am also having a problem with groups for radio (select one) fields. While I was struggling with trying to get the field to display, I choose advanced which added a group, and once chosen the group label seems to remain even if I remove advanced mode or set it to blank. This is a minor problem, as I can delete the field and add it back.
