Logic function for creating unique user meta

Hi,

I bought this script only to learn the logics of how to validate that a user field is unique to the other registered users. What would a function look like if i want to register a new user meta (separated from the plugin) in wordpress and make the field unique towards other users?

Hello,
Have a look on user-meta/framework/models/PluginFrameworkWPSupport.php file and locate method “isUserFieldAvailable”, here you can find the logic used by UMP to validate unique field.
