Import user

Hello,

I want to upload some users using a csv file. The upload process went through without any problems or error messages but when I go to the userlist there is only the username and the email filled in. The firstname and lastname are missing.

Here is a small example of the csv-file:

"username","firstname","lastname","password","email"
"john","John","Doe","Password","j.doe@somewhere.com"
"max","Max","Example","Password","max@somewhere.com"

Where is my mistake?

Hi Marco,

Your csv file looks good. However, please make sure you have map fields correctly while importing. If not works, please try our dev version.

But it’s still not working. Even not with the dev version.

Hi Marco, As users import is working on our dev server without any problem, Is it possible to set an admin account for us to check the issue on your site. You can email us at support(at)user-meta.com
(btw, the error could also comes for plugin conflict)

I’m having the same issue,
my import keeps failing at 0.1mb

i have the csv set out as requested
“custom field”,”custom field”,”custom field”,”custom field”,”custom field”
“john”,”John”,”Doe”,”Password”,”j.doe@somewhere.com”
“max”,”Max”,”Example”,”Password”,”max@somewhere.com”

buut still not allowing upload
