I have a phone number field, which seems to allow numbers of the form (nnn) nnn-nnnn ext nnnn. One of my users has a 5 digit extension. Is there any way to accommodate them?

Hello,

You can use “Custom Field” instead and apply regular expression on it.

Following expression can validate nnn-nnnn, nnn-nnnnn, nnnnnnn and nnnnnnnn

[0-9]{3}[-]?[0-9]{4,5}
