File upload and multi-site issues in 1.1.5rc2

In testing 1.1.5rc2, the following has been noted regarding File Upload extra fields. (I am using file upload for images.)
1) from the Admin section, when editing a profile, there is no UPLOAD button. You can see an image previously uploaded, but cannot upload a new one. If you have created a user profile page, you can see the upload, but this severely hampers admins.
2) in Multi-site, the files are now going to uploads/files for the overall site instead of to the appropriate multi-site folder. This will create all sorts of problems and will not keep the sites separate.

Thanks for your reporting.

1. We have fixed this on dev version and will apply that fix on next release. In the meantime, you can use Development Version.

2. All user data on WP are shared among the whole network as WP use same database table to store and retrieve user data. So, since version 1.1.5 rc2, we have decided to store all user data in the same place. And it is also good for locating file reference under network.

Excellent, look forward to the release that adds the Upload Files button, I found tonight I need that for an site I’m working on. If there’s also a way I can add it manually while I wait for the the next release that would be great too, please post if that’s an option.
