I have set up User Meta Pro so that email verification is required on registration. When the user clicks on the verification link in the email, the email verification page shows a message to indicate the user is already activated (the user_already_activated message from Settings -> Text).
Putting some markers in the UMP code it appears that ExecutionPageController:executionPage() fires twice, so the email verification page is loaded twice. Therefore, the user never sees the email_verified message.
This wouldn’t be a problem, but I want to do some processing of the user data using the ‘user_meta_email_verified’ hook and output some results to the email verification page, but because the way SupportProModel: emailVerification() is structured, that hook is not called if the user is already activated.
Can you help me find out what’s happening?
I deactivated and the reactivated all the plugins on the site, and the problem went away.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to pinpoint which plugin it was that fixed the problem.
