DropDown with RANGE

Hello Khaled,

I had created a dropdown field to select da YEAR (like 1975).
Now I like to have a list of years like the latest 80 years. starting from 2015-18 then 80 years.
I like to be sure that the age can at least only be 18 years.

Can you explain how I can modify the dropdown select field without editiing this by hand?

Hi Denis,

You can use following codes:

add_filter( 'user_meta_field_config', 'user_meta_field_config_populate_options', 10, 3 );
function user_meta_field_config_populate_options( $field, $fieldID, $formName ){ 
    if( $fieldID != 'Select_Field_ID' ) // Put your desired field id here
        return $field;
    
    $end    = (int) date('Y') - 18;
    $start  = $end - 80;
    
    $years = range( $start, $end );
        
    $field['options'] = array_combine( $years, $years );
 
    return $field;
}

One little thing…how can I make the first thing to be YEAR ?

Like in the normal drop down fields I created…

=Monat,01=Januar,02=Februar,…etc etc..

=Year,….
