Hey there!
I just updated my plugin from Version 1.1.7.1 to 1.3.
I used the directions in section 1.5 of the Get Started Documentation (http://user-meta.com/documentation/get-started/) and the plugin is Active, however the shortcodes no longer work and I can no longer see “User Meta Pro” in the sidebar.
Does anyone have any feedback as to what could be causing this? I’m not getting any error messages.
One of the main change since version 1.2 is renaming plugin directory from user-meta to user-meta-pro. If you see the plugin in plugins listing page, please make sure the plugin is activated. otherwise please try to re-install the plugin (version 1.3).
Thank you for your answer, Khaled. I double-checked and the directory name is correct, the plugin is activated, and I have repeated the steps to update to Version 1.3
Looking into this further, I realized that we are currently on PHP 5.3.29. Could the reason be that we need to upgrade to 5.5?
The minimum requirement for UMP-1.3 is PHP-5.5. So, in order to use 1.3, you will need to upgrade your PHP version. If you are going to upgrade your PHP version, I recommend PHP-7.1
