I just recently upgraded to the pro version, I tried both methods of activation, but to no avail.
When I tried to do it through the settings, it redirects to a new page and prompts “Are you sure you wanna do this?” and a “Please try again” link underneath it.April 1, 2013 at 4:06 pm #3583
Please deactivate and remove your existing UMP (your won’t loose your data) then download latest version of UMP from http://user-meta.com/downloads/ install and activate the plugin.

Same issue. I’ve tried deactivating and removing 3 times, and I get the same thing. “Are you sure you wanna do this?” and the “Please try again” link under it. Please help!April 3, 2013 at 4:52 am #3595optimumpooltechMember
I am having the same issue. Only the free version is available even after we have paid and updated to the Pro version.April 3, 2013 at 12:38 pm #3596
Hello, Your license seems to be validated, but replacing free version with pro version is failed. You need to manually replace the version. Please completely remove existing UMP version first (You can aslo remove using ftp)
Then download latest version of UMP form http://user-meta.com/download/ and install it, You won’t need to validate your license again.

That worked. Thanks!April 6, 2013 at 1:49 am #3606Thomas StrackeMember
tried activation from MY site, error: Something went wrong – -32300 : transport error – HTTP status code was not 200
tried activation from http://user-meta.com/activation/ : no success either, did input all passwords etc., pressed “activate”-button, then came to a site whith normal header, but only title “Remote Activation”, nothing else happend.
However, hat to choose the version and could only choose up to 1.1.3rc3, not 1.1.3, which is the version I’ve installed.
Then therefor did remove 1.1.3, downloaded and installed manually 1.1.3rc3, same failure.
Updated to 1.1.3 again, however, no success either way.
Any hint, what I still could try?
Very courious, hope you’ll help, ThomasApril 6, 2013 at 2:44 am #3607April 13, 2013 at 10:44 am #3656Thomas StrackeMember
Hi, the problem was, that my hoster blocked port 80 for security reasons. After he opened that, registration worked. Might be the reason for more of these problems.
However, thanks for your support! Thomas
