Critical 2.0 Regression! Multi-value fields do not validate

With the addition of sanitize_text_field() in Version 2.0, POSTed values that are arrays (checkbox, multi-select, etc.) result in an empty string stored into the field object, which causes it to fail validation even when a valid value is submitted.

I’m updating line 137 as follows until the next release:

$fieldValue = is_array($_POST[$fieldName]) ? array_map('sanitize_text_field', $_POST[$fieldName]) : sanitize_text_field($_POST[$fieldName]);
