I am trying to use Rich Text Fields (RTF) as triggers for hiding another field using conditional logic but I cannot get it to work.
The use case is: 3 commentary fields. Field 2 only should show up when field 1 has been used and field 3 only should show up when field 2 has been used.
At the moment I try to:
– set the default value of the field to “empty” (works)
– use the trigger: Hide the field if the RTF is “empty” (does not work)
(I also tried to set “
empty
” as a condition, still does not work…)
(I also tried to not use a default value at all and set the conditions to “Hide this field if the RTF is “” (so actually empty) – does not work either…)
If however I set radio buttons as conditions it works and the fields are properly hidden. So I assume conditional logic does not work with Rich Text Fields?
Yes, it seems like conditional logic based on Rich Text Fields is not working properly for all cases.
Thank you for pointing that out. We will try to find a workaround and let you know.
Thanks!
