Changing the "Hello Username" to "Hello Firstname"

Helo,
First – great plugin, I like it alot.

I am trying to change the “Hello Username” message the user gets after logging in to instead show “Hello Firstname”.

I thought I could do it by editing /models/umSupportArray.php and changing the %user_login% below to %first_name%, but I’m not seeing the site update. Am I editing the right file?

Hello Scott, We are happy to know you like our plugin. For changing username to firstname, you don’t need to hack the plugin. Go to User Meta >> Settings (Login Tab), under “Logged in user profile settings” you can change %user_login% to %first_name%
