Can't load files or Avatar (error)

Hi,

I’ve just purchased the pro version of your plugin but I’m getting this error. What so I need to do to resolve it.

Hello David,

The error means, your server doesn’t have proper permission to access http://sfdev.geniedemo1.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/files/f31408123240.jpg. It could be a file permission issue or apache auth configuration issue. Please recheck them.

Thank you for your reply.

I have set the permissions to the http://sfdev.geniedemo1.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/files/ to 777 and this has not resolved the issue and don’t feel comfortable with 777 anyway.

As for the Apache auth issue this is something I do not know enough about so have asked my host to look into it for me.

Everything else works fine and and I am not sure why it is only this plugin that is giving an error.

The odd thing is the files are getting copied to the folder.

Hi,

This has now been resolved. I had a password protected directory but even though I was logged in, the plugin didn’t seem to recognise this. I am not sure if this was an error or just a feature of the plugin.
