bug with wp_mail() and user_meta_pre_user_update hook

Hello,

Thank you for your work on the plugin; it is working very well. I have encountered a bug and need a solution for it.

I am using the user_meta_pre_user_update hook to send an email using wp_mail() before the user profile update is saved. The result is that the email sends, but the profile update is not saved to the database.

Could you please advise me on how to get the user_meta_pre_user_update to run after wp_mail()?

Most probably you forget to return argument for the filter callback function.

add_filter( 'user_meta_pre_user_update', 'sendMailuserUpdate' );
function sendMailuserUpdate($userData){
    // Your code...
    
    return $userData;
}
