When filling out a multi-part registration form, is there a way, when the user clicks the “Next” button to go to the next set of form fields, can the page automatically scroll to the top? What is happening is when the user clicks the next button, the new next set of fields are presented but if the user’s window is scrolled to the bottom, when the next fields are presented they are too scrolled to the bottom.
I needed this on a long, multi-part form as well so I added one line of code to the user-meta.js file around line 135, right before the hasError. I tested on Windows Chrome, Android and IE and it works well.
jQuery(formID).validationEngine(“hide”);
window.scrollTo( 0,0 ); <—- this scrolls the page to top after clicking the next button.
if ( hasError ) return false;
