We’re using user-meta-pro.1.1.2. In the email sent to the user there is no verification link.

We’ve tried adding the verification link code manually (Use placeholder %email_verification_url% if needed.) into the notifications but it still does not work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you getting anything at all in your notifications? Are the links there as text, or are they missing altogether – even though you have all options set to HTML?

Please elaborate at your convenience.

Thank you for the reply.

No, we’re receiving the email with links. It is only the verification link sent to the user that seems to be missing.

Here is an example of the email that is being sent:

E-mail: xxxxx@gmail.com
Password: sLtXYVmAdOrX

Login Url: xxxxxx/wp-login.php
Email verification url:

—

I have exactly the same problem… Would be kind of nice to hear about a solution. I actually payed for this plugin and my client asks for explaination of this problem.

Hello, Please make sure you have selected “Need email verification” or “Need both email verification and admin approval” form User Meta Settings. If it is ok, Please contact with our “contact Us” section with your site url.

I’m having the same dilemma but this time it’s the reset password link that is not showing in the email and also whatever changes I made to Lost Password Email template the email that being sent don’t apply the changes.

Weird. If I set the ‘Email Sender Setting’ to ‘Plain Text’ reset link will be shown in the email while my other email from the other plugins are in a complete mess. Configuring the Lost Password E-mail in Email Notification section doesn’t seem to work. It don’t apply the changes.

Just bought and have the same problem. Everything seems correctly configured. I just contacted assistance. I’ll let you know if solved.

They solved the problem: we forgot to specify in user-meta settings which page should be used as login page. That page il also used for email validation, that’s why link was not generated sending email.

For me, the password reset link and the site title are missing in the password reset link although the values are correctly populated in wordpress. Changing the email format or anything in this thread does not help

Hi, I purchased PRO version 1.1.2 in August 2012. The site is now live but the register verification email with link is not being sent. I can confirm in Users the registration is “inactive” though. This seems to have happened since I did the “Security Check” problem fix found in your forum here: http://user-meta.com/forums/topic/login-error-security-check-help/.
