Hi, The registration page was created by following the instructions in the plugin, for the page within WordPress we have ‘[user-meta type="registration" form="registration-form"]‘ and the template itself just has a <?php the_content() ?> to reference it.

Everything works except anytime a WP_error is thrown using the user_meta_pre_user_register hook the form then gives same error even though the incorrect field has been corrected.

Magically, the error function works now, BUT the condition of the registration not proceeding after correcting the error still persists.

This issue is still an open item. Please let me know how we can allow registration to continue after correcting the error.

Hi, I checked the function above and it is following the documentation on the site for adding custom filters during registration however, nothing I put in the function is firing when validation should be occurring.

I simplified the function just to see if anything fires but don’t believe its being called. Is there some setting that needs to be enabled for these hooks to work?

Thank you for sending the function but there is no error firing when the username is entered with spaces. We are using the username field as is with no modifications:

<input type=”text” name=”user_login” id=”um_field_5_registration-form” class=”um_field_5 um_input validate[required]” label_id=”um_field_5_registration-form_label”>

Are there any other settings that are required other than adding the function above to the functions.php file to make this work?
