    Figured it out.

    Your private response helped me find it:

    It seems that the problem is with two specific fields (meta key): street_address_/_po_box and notes_private.
    If you do not include fields in export with these meta keys, everything should work fine.
    There might be some unsanitized data with special characters in those fields. You can do a search for these.

    It’s the “#” character. When found it in the address (such as “Apt #4”) or anywhere in notes, it kills the file at that point. I did a search and replace in the ‘wphx_usermeta’ table and it seems to work now.

    Thanks. I hope you can eliminate this in the future, as I am sure many people will enter such a character in fields.

    Discovered that no matter how sorted, it always ends with a particular user. I filtered them out and it still had the same number of users, but the next name.

    UPDATE: My client added fields to User Export ID:2 and it’s truncating again — the first 26 users MOSTLY alphabetically by email address or last name, same as before.

    I also realized that this happens when doing the default export. The one from ‘User Export (ID:2)’ appears to be working.

    There is nothing specified as a filter except to not include pending users. When I change filters, the list may even be shorter.

    No matter how I asked it to sort, at first the output was alphabetical order by email address. Trying it today, the list is different depending on what it is sorted by, and when sorted by ‘display_name’, it only renders 8 users with no other filters in place.

    There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this.

    My datacenter edited the code as it seems like it was deprecated and not working with the new version of php.

    I’d rather not use the Dev version on an active site. Hopefully the next update will address it and not break the system.

    Not a coder, but having the same issue. Can you explain what you did to fix in layman’s terms? What should that line be in php.ini?

    Same trouble here. Just upgraded and renewed licences.

    There is no validation option at the ‘settings’ page, and I even tried remote activation, which alos did not work.

    I am reverting for now and turning off automatic update of plugins until this is fixed. Please advise.

    I just upgraded to 1.1.3cr2 from cr1 and I’m having the exact same problem —

    NO EXPORT MENU ITEM

    Supposed to go live in two days and this is a necessary feature for my cleint … please help.

    Over and over, everyone refers to this thread but it does NOT lay out plainly how to use the controls in the User Meta Fields Editor.

    I tried every possible combination of syntax I could think of and I can’t get a simple inline display.
