Can you help any further to resolve this please Khaled?
With Ajax disabled, entering a non-valid user name and incorrect password renders the correct red error message, however entering a valid user name and incorrect password gives the above result – just re-rendering blank fields with no message.

That has cured the main issue, but now the Login simply re-renders blank fields again after entering incorrect credentials, rather than displaying the red Error message?
