Thanks Khaled, I found out it was me and not the plugin (it was doing the same thing on 2+ sites which is why I thought it was the plugin). It hadn’t even occurred to me to look in the WP editor since the browser inspect element was showing different than the page source. That, and I definitely don’t remember putting the a tag around the UMP shortcode, or how it got there otherwise, but I will remember for if it happens again.
