It is happening again! What could be causing this issue? Please help. We have been getting notified from users all day that they can’t log in.

It seems that I can deactivate and reactivate their account and then they can log in just fine – but I have almost 1K users and don’t want to do that for everyone if I can help it. Please advise!

Looks like notifications are working okay now. I had to test a lot of different messages to make it work though. Seems like it would get hung up on some hard coded html links, but would work better if you use the placeholder values they provide with the plugin.

Minodev – You said you had tried a number of other user management plugins prior to using User Meta Pro. I also tried other solutions before settling on User Meta Pro. I was suspicious that maybe I was having so many issues with User Meta Pro because of conflicting settings from the other membership plugins… but couldn’t be sure. That’s ultimately why I decided to rebuild.

No, I was having lots of issues with User Meta Pro on that site/server. Didn’t get any support (even though I purchased the pro license)… and couldn’t get it troubleshooted, so I gave up on it and basically rebuilt the site on another server. We just went live with the new site yesterday, so don’t know if I am going to be running into the same issues in that environment.

Thank goodness! I was freaking out for a second. It’s back.

So, hopefully there are no more login issues. I’ll reach out again if we have users who can’t log in.
AJAX is still disabled, so as I mentioned before, don’t think it is an AJAX issue. Do you have any idea what else it could be? Could it be a server configuration thing? Conflict with another plugin possibly?

This won’t remove my settings, custom fields, forms, redirect settings, email notifications, etc?

It also broke the registration form. We had custom fields but now there are some weird buggy things going on. Please help ASAP! I can’t have the site displaying these issues.

Now that I upgraded, it says I do not have the Pro Version. Even though I do have the Pro Version (that is what was installed before I upgraded). Can’t use the login shortcode without the Pro version. Please HELP ASAP!

Not currently using caching plugin. I will update now. Do you think this will fix the problem we are having with login?

Okay. But in regards to the issue at hand — what are the next steps to getting support on this issue? Do I need to create a support ticket to get you to look into what could be causing this?

Not yet. What has been fixed in the latest release that could fix this issue? I looked through the changelog updates and didn’t see anything listed that seems like it would effect/fix this bug.

Do you advise updating? Is it safe to update?
