validation rejecting valid email on login

I just created a login page and everything was working fine, including logging in using my admin email. Then suddenly it stopped working. When I try to login using my admin email, it gives me this error: “ERROR: Invalid Email.”.

I need this back up and running by tomorrow for a client. Any thoughts about how to debug this (or fix it!) would be greatly appreciated!

Thank goodness I didn’t disable the WP login option or I would be truly screwed – lesson learned.

Hello, Please use username field instead of email field and change title to email in your login form. Or if you don’t need any customization on your login form, you can use login shortcode without assigning any form.

Shortcode: [user-meta type=”login”]

This will generate a default login form for you. For login with email go to User Meta >> Settings >> Login Tab then select your desired “User Login By” option.
