I have a text field on a registration page, and while looking through my user records I noticed an entry that looked very strange – it appeared to contain a large list of names and addresses. Unfortunately, I wasn’t thinking and I deleted the data without fully examining it (I can go get it from a backup to view it later if necessary)
What I am wondering is, would it ever be possible for someone with “ill intentions” to execute code in one of these text fields and somehow pull data from the site or do anything malicious?
I just want to make sure I am taking all necessary precautions. Thanks!
