Password repeat problem

Hello,

I have a small problem with the password repeat field. When both the password and password repeat field is entered then the validation to check that both passwords are the same works well.

However, if a user only fills in the password field and leaved the repeat password empty the registration process goes through.

How do I add validation so an empty repeat password is taken into consideration?

Also, it looks like the repeat password validation is client side javascript only and there is no server side validation for this field? Is this correct?
