Non-Admin Profile Update | User Meta Pro - WordPress user management plugin

When a users submits the form that updates their profile, they are given this error message “You do not have permission to access user profile.” This doesn’t happen when an admin attempts to update profile however, in BOTH cases the following error comes up: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /wp-content/plugins/user-meta/controllers/umPreloadsController.php on line 224.

I have deactivated and deleted the plugin and reinstalled to no avail. Any idea what’s going on? I need this resolved asap.

The problem is solved when I uncheck “Do not use AJAX submit” on the forms on the page. Is there any reason why?
