Hi

I’m getting a intermittent problem using User Meta Pro to log in to a site.

The flow is this
– go to login page
– enter correct details
– click login
– login page reloads with no error message
– I try to access wp-admin or other pages for logged in users
– System thinks I’m not logged in and forwards me to login page
– The loop repeats..

If I use a different browser or use incognito mode (I use Chrome) I can log in as normal. If I delete cookies for this site I can then log in as normal.

Interestingly I noticed this problem also here on this site (http://user-meta.com/) when I tried to log in to the support forum. I entered username and password, clicked login, didn’t get any message, and I wasn’t logged in.

Hello, with new version of UMP there are some js change, new js might not be loaded in your case. It should fix automatically when your browser will look for updated js and css, and clearing cookies can load updated js. Thanks.

This is still an intermittent problem for me and other admins on the site.

I can only log back in to the site by deleting the site cookie and then logging in again.

Hello,
Please check are there any chrome extension handling with cookies issues. And also check http://yoursite.com/wp-login.php is also working for you or not.

If you found wp-login.php is redirected to front-end login page, Select “none” for “Login Page” from User Meta >> Settings (Login Tab)
